Three people who broke the copyright of a popular online game were charged in the Xuhui District People’s Court in the first criminal case of its kind in China.
Prosecutors say the ringleader of the trio, 29-year-old Wang Yuchuan from Henan Province, stole the computer code of the game “Zhengtu” – one of the 10 most popular online games in China – and some support documents from the Giant Interactive Group Inc, which developed the game.

Mumbai Film Actress (Bollywood actress) and Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty has lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell of the Mumbai police alleging that a person who got hold of her mobile number had spread it to others resulting in hundreds of unsolicited calls and messages, police said.
Ever since the actress catapulted to overnight international stardom by winning the Celebrity Big Brother show in the UK earlier this year, Shilpa’s private cell phone number has remained a closely guarded secret. It remained in the safe hands of a total of six to eight of her confidantes, but now her number has been leaked on the internet. And the actress is having a tough time dealing with nonstop phone calls and messages from random fans from all parts of the world.

LUCKNOW:The home page of Vodafone website was partially hacked by people who call themselves ‘WwW.Turkmilliyetcileri.ORG,’ making mockery of the cyber security software in the country.
The top management of the company admitted to the hacking, though after much persuasion. They claimed that it was the old website which was hacked on Tuesday evening. Initially the company had no information about the hacking of the page. However, it was surprising that even though it was an older version there was no rerouting to the new one. The company removed both the websites from the net late on Tuesday night.

Search engine Google now owns one of the shortest possible domain names for the users in the Chinese market.
The company is now complementing its Google.cn service with a new domain name g.cn.
Google said that this short domain name would help the web users in the country as they would be able to type it in fast.
Google would continue to use Google.cn in this market. Currently, g.cn domain is forwarding to Google.cn domain name.
