Some People have been making use of popular websites to display information on sex services of different kinds.

Leading consumer products website mouthshut.com recently became target of such information.

The Mumbai headquartered website suddenly had lot of advertisements on escort services and information on call girls. The criminals involved even mentioned that they provide services in cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Mohali, Shimla, Hyderabad,Bangalore and other cities.

A few users who had registered themselves with the website recently started posting blogs on the review section where other than talking about products, they mentioned about services like supplying call girls and escorts at desirable locations in various cities across India.

Officials from the website approached the cyber crime investigation cell (CCIC) of the Mumbai police and registered a case after the uploading went on for three months. An official from the CCIC said: “The IP addresses were traced to major cities.

Offensive Facebook Page and the Law

The debate about What’s offensive and what’s illegal on Facebook Continues.

In a recent case in Australia a 20-year-old man has been interviewed by police and faces possible stalking charges.

The move follows the appearance of a webpage that lists names and photographs of 100 women of a country town including a 14-year-old girl describing them as sluts.

After complaints the page has been taken down.
